The Colorado Avalanche have acquired forward Fabian Lysell from the Boston Bruins, sending forward Ivan Ivan to Boston in return.
The deal was completed on Saturday, June 27, 2026, during the NHL Draft weekend.

Lysell, 23, was originally selected by the Bruins as the 21st overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
He signed a three-year entry-level contract with an annual NHL salary cap hit of $925,000.
Lysell's NHL and AHL Performance
The Swedish forward made his NHL debut in December 2024 against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He was later reassigned to Boston's American Hockey League affiliate, the Providence Bruins.

In 12 total NHL games with the Bruins, Lysell recorded one goal and two assists.
During the past season with Providence, he tallied 11 goals and 25 assists in 57 games.
