The Florida Panthers have acquired the exclusive negotiating rights to defenseman Radko Gudas from the Anaheim Ducks, sending forward A.
J. Greer to Anaheim in return.

The trade was announced Monday ahead of the upcoming unrestricted free agency deadline.
Both players are set to become unrestricted free agents on Wednesday unless new contracts are finalized with their respective clubs.
Gudas, 36, returns to Florida where he played three seasons from 2020 to 2023.
During that stint, he recorded seven goals and 44 points in 203 games and helped the Panthers reach the 2023 Stanley Cup Final.
Last season, Gudas served as the ninth captain in Anaheim franchise history.
He registered two goals and 11 assists in 56 regular-season games, helping the Ducks secure their first postseason berth since 2018.

"Radko Gudas captained our club with heart and soul over the last two seasons while making a great impact in our community," said Ducks General Manager Pat Verbeek.
"We offer our thanks and wish him great success going forward."
Anaheim acquires the rights to Greer, a 29-year-old forward who posted career highs with 17 goals, 15 assists, and 32 points in 78 games last season.
He also helped Florida win the Stanley Cup in 2025.
