An inquest into his death opened on Monday, June 29, at Norfolk Coroner's Court. Area coroner Yvonne Blake stated that further inquiries are needed to determine the circumstances.

The hearing was adjourned until October.

Mr. Flack's death comes six years after his younger sister Caroline died by suicide at her home in east London in February 2020.

Following her passing, he posted a childhood photo of her on social media, writing: "This will be my last post here.

May those who know feel shame for eternity. Love you Caroline x."

Caroline Flack's death in 2020 occurred after she learned she would face trial for assault by beating following an altercation with boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Her family accused the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) of pursuing a "show trial," leading her to step down as host of Love Island.

The case sparked national debates on public scrutiny, mental health, and social media harassment.

Paul, along with his mother Christine and sister, participated in the 2021 documentary Caroline Flack: Her Life and Death to examine the events.

Christine Flack has consistently argued her daughter should not have been prosecuted.
