The Town of Ladysmith will hold its annual Canada Day festivities at Transfer Beach Park on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
The event aims to bring together residents and visitors for a day of community pride.

According to the Ladysmith Chronicle, the celebration will include live entertainment, family activities, and community booths.
Schedule of Events
The day will start at 9:00 a. m.
with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Ladysmith Kinsmen Club.
At 11:30 a. m.
, the Parks, Recreation and Culture department will open family-oriented activities and community booths.
An official Canada Day Birthday Ceremony will also begin at 11:30 a. m.

at the Amphitheatre. A traditional giant cake cutting will follow at 11:45 a.
m. , with complimentary cake available while supplies last.
From 11:45 a. m.
until 2:00 p. m.
