Staff stopped her at the boarding gate, asserting that her attire was too revealing for public travel.
Pilz was required to put on a hooded sweatshirt and zip it up fully before being permitted to board the aircraft.
Following the incident, she expressed frustration regarding the interaction and criticized the manner in which airline staff addressed her.
"I felt like a second-class citizen," said Edda Pilz, Fitness Influencer.
The influencer questioned the decision publicly on social media, pointing out the hot weather conditions at the time of her travel.
"This is a sports outfit. It's 30 degrees outside, what am I supposed to wear?"
said Edda Pilz, Fitness Influencer.
Pilz emphasized that her primary grievance was not the existence of regulations, but the communication style utilized by the airport employee.
"It is not only about rules, but also about how you talk to people," said Edda Pilz, Fitness Influencer.
She later shared an image of an alternative outfit while traveling, mockingly questioning the airline's rules.
"Wondering if this outfit is suitable for boarding this time. What do you think?"
