A domestic dispute over cleanliness has emerged between a couple sharing a flat, highlighting friction caused by differing personal hygiene routines.
Martin expressed deep frustration regarding the habits of his girlfriend, Debbie, noting that small piles of her nails, hair, and contact lenses frequently clutter their shared home.

He claims these items accumulate on the floor and various surfaces before being cleaned up during weekly routines.
"I am not a germaphobe but I do get freaked out when I see bits of Debbie lying around the place," Martin said.
According to Martin, Debbie throws her contact lenses on the floor when removing them, lets shed hair gather into hairballs, and discards nail paint chips during manicures.
He noted that the dried contact lenses adhere to the wooden floors, requiring him to scrape them off surfaces manually.
Martin also stated that his friends noticed a contact lens on the dining room table, raising hygiene concerns.
He suggested using a small bowl to collect the used contact lenses, but reported that Debbie dismissed the idea with laughter.
In response, Debbie defends her routine by explaining that the small piles are temporary and that she ultimately cleans them up.

She argues that leaving a few strands of hair or a contact lens after a 12-hour workday does not constitute an emergency.
"The way Martin talks about me, you'd think I was Miss Havisham. I'm just a busy woman," Debbie stated.
