A single-vehicle crash in Heibloem on Sunday afternoon killed four people and left two others with serious injuries.
The accident occurred around 2:30 p. m.

on Aan de Heibloem when the car left the road and struck a tree.
Emergency services dispatched six ambulances, fire crews, and two trauma helicopters to the scene.
First responders pronounced four occupants dead at the site. The two surviving injured passengers were rushed to the hospital for urgent care.
Mayor Visits Crash Site
Leudal Mayor Désirée Schmalschläger visited the crash site after being informed of the incident while attending the OLS event in Melick.

Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
A police spokesperson described the event as a tragic accident and confirmed that an investigation into the cause is underway.

Law enforcement officials stated they cannot confirm rumors about whether the vehicle was a sports car or if it was carrying too many passengers at the time of the crash.
