Newcastle United has completed the signing of 20-year-old winger Bazoumana Toure from German Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, the club announced on Sunday.
The transfer fee is reported at £42 million, making Toure the second most expensive Ivorian player in history behind Nicolas Pepe.

Toure becomes the first outfield addition for Newcastle this summer, following the arrival of goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen.
The signings come after the departures of key players Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali.
The Ivorian international contributed five goals and several assists last season, helping Hoffenheim finish fifth and qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
He also made three appearances for Ivory Coast at the recent FIFA World Cup.
