BMW is refreshing the X2 crossover with a Neue Klasse-inspired design, as seen in new spy shots.
The mid-cycle update brings a revamped front fascia and a new digital cockpit.

Front End Transformation
The most significant changes are at the front.
Expect slimmer headlights with new DRL signatures and a reshaped kidney grille inspired by the Neue Klasse family.
The prototype spotted on a transporter shows a functional lower air intake, confirming it is an internal combustion engine model.
A separate prototype with four tailpipes is the X2 M35i.

Interior and Technology Upgrades
Inside, BMW will install the Panoramic iDrive system, featuring a pillar-to-pillar display at the base of the windshield and a floating infotainment touchscreen.
This replaces the current gauge cluster and dashboard layout, bringing the X2 in line with the iX3 and X5.
Electric iX2 Updates
The electric iX2 will receive similar exterior changes but with a blanked-off front grille typical of BMW EVs.
No major mechanical changes are expected, though battery chemistry may improve range slightly.

The facelift is expected to debut this fall.
