Polestar is broadening the Polestar 4 range with a new SUV body style that brings back the rear window omitted on the coupe version.
The electric vehicle maker has officially announced the Polestar 4 SUV, which features a redesigned roofline, reworked rear glass, and an upright tailgate.

Unlike the coupe variant, the SUV includes a rear windshield on the tailgate, making it a five-door EV.
The rest of the design is expected to carry over unchanged.
Practicality and Performance
The SUV retains the coupe's 2,999 mm wheelbase and likely the same 4,840 mm overall length.
Polestar says it adds “an added layer of flexibility and practicality, with versatile storage capabilities for every journey.”
The SUV also keeps the design, performance, and sustainability credentials of the Polestar 4 coupe.

It uses a 400V architecture with a WLTP range of up to 630 km for the single-motor RWD variant.
The dual-motor AWD model generates up to 544 hp. Polestar notes that retuned chassis components aim to balance refinement and sporty responses.
Market Launch and Availability
Polestar will launch the new model on September 2 in the UK market. The Polestar 4 SUV will be manufactured in Busan, South Korea.
It will be sold in most markets where Polestar is active, but not in the US.

Polestar has been forced to end US sales after the 2027 model year due to the “Connected Vehicle Rule.”
