President Donald Trump declared the US-Iran ceasefire agreement over after a new round of military strikes between the two countries.
The announcement came as Trump spoke ahead of a NATO summit in Turkey late Tuesday into Wednesday.

US Central Command launched strikes on Tuesday following attacks on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, which caused global oil prices to spike by about 6%.
Iran responded by targeting US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait on Wednesday.
Washington also revoked its temporary suspension of sanctions on Iranian oil sales.
Trump strongly criticized Iran's leadership, signaling a complete breakdown of the interim deal signed in June that had briefly guaranteed safe vessel passage.
"I think it's over. I don't want to deal with them anymore they're scum ...
they're led by sick people and they're vicious, violent people," Trump said.
The president expressed frustration with how Iranian officials handled prior diplomatic communications after signing the Memorandum of Understanding.
"We make a deal. They [Iran] go outside, talk to the press, they say 'we never even talked about it'.
There's something wrong with them. They're cuckoo.
As far as I'm concerned, it's over," Trump stated.
Iran's parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf accused the United States of breaching the agreement, pointing to the American strikes in southern Iran and actions in the strait.
