Airstream has expanded its World Traveler lineup with the introduction of the new 17RB. This compact 17-foot (5.18-meter) travel trailer is designed to appeal to first-time buyers.
The model features a classic riveted aluminum body, dual-pane acrylic windows, and a manual awning.

It also includes retractable steps, an LP storage box, and a low-profile roof with the air conditioner mounted underneath.
Lightweight and Towable by Crossovers
The 17RB slots below the $69,400 22RB in the lineup. It is pitched as a lightweight option that can be towed by many crossovers.
For off-grid adventures, buyers can opt for 200 watts of solar panels or a 2.5 kWh lithium battery package.
Inside, the Scandinavian-inspired interior features white aluminum walls and Shoreline or Sagebrush upholstery.
The front end has a convertible dinette, while the rear offers a 53-inch (1,346 mm) wide bed for two.

Between the sleeping areas is a small kitchen with a two-burner stove top, a sink, and a 2.1-cubic-foot (59-liter) refrigerator/freezer.
The countertop includes a foldable extension and a removable addition on the bedside. An optional microwave is available.
Additional features include a 24-inch Smart TV, a Truma Combi Eco Plus System for heating and hot water, numerous storage compartments, and a JBL audio system.
The World Traveler 17RB is already in production for the United States, with global production starting this fall.

Airstream has not announced pricing but says it will offer one of the most accessible entry points into the Airstream lifestyle.
