Japanese tuner Kuhl Racing has announced two distinct modification programs for the Nissan Armada, targeting opposite ends of the spectrum.

The company imported the North American SUV ahead of the Y63 Patrol's local launch and plans to showcase both builds at the Tokyo Auto Salon in early 2027.

Iron Build: Off-Road Focus

The Kuhl Iron Build emphasizes ruggedness, surpassing the factory Pro-4X trim.

It features high-clearance bumpers, broad fender extensions, and a roof spoiler, all crafted from lightweight fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP).

The off-road package includes 37-inch mud-terrain tires on 22-inch Verz-Wheels DDR03 alloys, paired with a coilover suspension that raises the SUV by 2 inches (51 mm).

Kuhl notes the final ride height will be more subtle than the renderings suggest.

Urban Style: Slammed Alternative

The Urban Style kit targets owners who never venture off-road.

Its bodykit includes reworked bumper intakes, a multi-piece splitter, side skirts, aero fins, a rear wing, and a diffuser with an optional quad-tailpipe exhaust.

Adjustable suspension lowers the Armada to GT-R-like ground clearance.

Black alloy wheels with performance tires complete the look, while an alternative setup offers 22-inch VRF01L forged wheels with a milder lowering kit.

Performance Upgrades for Both

Regardless of the styling package, Kuhl is developing performance upgrades for the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine.

Standard output is 425 hp, rising to 460 hp in the Patrol Nismo. Through ECU remapping, power will exceed 493 hp (368 kW), surpassing any factory build.

Uprated brakes with 8- or 12-piston calipers are also planned.
