England head coach Thomas Tuchel received a significant squad boost ahead of Saturday's World Cup quarterfinal against Norway in Miami as Marc Guéhi, Declan Rice, and Reece James all returned to training on Friday.

Guéhi participated in the session after missing training on Wednesday and Thursday due to hamstring pain, while James also joined following a three-game absence with a similar injury.

Vice-captain Rice returned to the squad after being isolated for two days with a sickness bug, leaving England with a nearly full squad aside from the suspended Jarell Quansah.

"That's the best news. We had everyone available in training, which we like.

We have a full choice apart from our suspended player, Jarell Quansah. So that's the good news," Tuchel said.

The training session in Miami also featured a visit from former England captain and Inter Miami co-owner Sir David Beckham, who met the players in the gym before watching the session.

Captain Harry Kane noted that the team would face a challenging match against Norway following their previous victory against Mexico.

"We are going to need to be at our best.

We come off the back of a really good win and this is the time to show it – we want to show what type of team we can be," Kane said.

Kane added that Beckham shared words of encouragement with the squad during his visit to the training facility.
