"The way [the England players] switched from celebration into protection mode around him, to see 26 players, to see all the staff, for me it was really an incredible moment," Barry said.
He further lauded Henderson's football intelligence and winning mentality.
"And it says everything about Jordan that all of the players, they just wanted to be with him, protect him and support him," Barry said.
Barry joked about the possibility of Henderson eventually taking over his coaching role under Tuchel.
"As I said, he has it all. He's the full package.
He's a serial winner as a player, he's an elite person off the pitch, and in terms of football IQ he can really hold court with anyone and the best of them," Barry said.
Barry concluded his thoughts on Henderson by reinforcing his high potential.
"The future is bright for Jordan, I'm sure. Maybe one day he takes my seat, he kicks me off and Thomas [Tuchel] replaces me.
But even if I were to get replaced by Jordan, it would be a fantastic pick," Barry said.
Addressing his mandatory televised half-time interviews for Fifa, Barry explained his direct and critical approach during matches.
"They've become popular. That certainly wasn't and isn't the intent," Barry said.
He noted that his primary focus remains on returning to the team quickly during the brief interval.
"I just decide to answer the question as honestly as I can...
I think it's a bit of a shame if you're getting praised for honesty overall," Barry said.
Barry stated that the fast-paced nature of the matches influences his brief responses.
"So, listen, it happens quickly. You come in at half-time.
Sometimes in the game you've conceded goals late on, or you have so many thoughts running through your mind," Barry said.
He finished by describing his mindset during the media obligations.

"You get asked one question, you answer it as directly and as quickly as you can because overall you just want to be back with the team," Barry said.
