President Milei's Remarks
Argentine President Javier Milei acknowledged the loss during an interview with Radio Mitre, contextualizing the result within the team's overall era of success.
"Even though the result isn't what we would have liked, we need to recognise the historic significance of this group of players' enormous achievement: in the last four World Cups, they've reached three finals and won one," said Milei.
President Milei added that the squad deserved complete support despite the late extra-time defeat.
"And this final was lost in extra time. What's more, no one can hold anything against them because they gave their all," said Milei.

According to the Argentine Football Association (AFA), members of the squad were scheduled to return to Argentina on Monday, though no official public celebrations were formally announced.
