The Range Rover GT is the most car-like vehicle the British marque has ever built, and its first electric grand tourer.
Jaguar Land Rover has been testing a low-slung, sleek crossover for months, initially thought to be the next-generation Range Rover Velar.

Instead, it is an all-new, fifth member of the Range Rover family called the GT.
The existing Range Rover Velar will continue to be sold as is.
The GT will be a separate model, offered exclusively as an EV at launch, with a hybrid option later.
Design and Platform
The GT is based on JLR's flexible EMA platform and takes inspiration from the upcoming Jaguar Type 01.
It shares some cues with the Range Rover Sport, like a low front end and sharp headlights, but sits lower with a more coupe-like profile.
From the side, it evokes the Cadillac Celestiq and Jaguar Type 01, though it is shorter and stumpier than either.

Revolutionary Interior
The cabin is unlike any previous Range Rover.
It features a striking steering wheel with thick horizontal spokes and touch-sensitive capacitive buttons, with the airbag unit positioned below the center line.
The stalks resemble those of the Jaguar Type 01.
A slim display serves as the instrument cluster, and a large central infotainment screen is suspended above a floating center console.
The GT will initially be sold as a four-seater, with a second-row bench seat for five offered later.
Range Rover managing director Martin Limpert said, “The Range Rover GT will redefine the grand-touring segment with the ability to deliver beautiful and engaging GT poise, proportions and long-distance refinement while offering capabilities no conventional GT can match.”

More details will be announced later this year, but sales and delivery timelines are not yet confirmed.
