Mercedes-Maybach has wasted no time in applying its signature luxury touches to the recently facelifted GLS.
The brand previewed its new flagship SUV on social media, signaling a bold entry into the ultra-luxury SUV segment.

The teaser clip, shared on Instagram, reveals that the new Maybach GLS will retain the standard model's star-shaped daytime running lights.
However, it adds an illuminated ring around the front grille, a glowing Maybach logo, and a lit Mercedes-Benz badge on the hood.
Luxury Upgrades Inside and Out
Just like the pre-facelift model, the new Maybach GLS will be heavily adorned with chrome.
Expect chrome elements on the front grille, air intakes, and parts of the bumpers.
The cabin is set to receive the finest materials Mercedes-Benz can offer.
Likely features include spacious captain's chairs in the second row, a refrigerated storage compartment, and premium leather upholstery.

The SUV may also adopt the MBUX Superscreen setup with exclusive Maybach graphics and menus.
New forged wheels with a floating star center cap, similar to those on the updated Maybach S-Class, are also anticipated.
Powertrain and Performance
Powertrain details remain unconfirmed.
The outgoing Maybach GLS 600 uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 550 hp and 538 lb-ft of torque.
The updated model is expected to receive Mercedes-Benz's new flat-plane crank 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. This engine should deliver similar power while meeting Euro 7 emissions standards.
The new Maybach GLS aims to compete directly with the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga in the luxury SUV market.
