Toronto Sun journalist Steve Simmons reported on the trade market dynamics surrounding the veteran blue liner.
"To date, nobody has wanted him. And the price is basically eating Rielly's salary, with almost nothing to pay in return," wrote Simmons.
Former NHL head coach and current TSN analyst Bruce Boudreau discussed Rielly's situation under former coach Craig Berube during an appearance on TSN's OverDrive.
"I think he (Rielly) can turn it around very quickly," said Boudreau.
