Amy's Kitchen has issued a voluntary recall of more than 184,000 cans of its Organic Lentil Soup - Light in Sodium due to a packaging defect that could lead to spoilage.
The recall affects 15,350 cases containing 12-count, 14.5-ounce (411 g) cans.

The problem lies in the easy-open pull tab, which was found to have a manufacturing flaw.
The U. S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) classified this as a Class II recall, meaning consuming the soup may cause temporary or medically reversible health issues.
The affected products were distributed across 27 states, including California, New York, Texas, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, as well as parts of Canada.
Consumers can identify the recalled cans by the lot number 60D0924 and a best-by date of April 2027.

The U. S.
UPC is 042272005833, and the Canadian UPC is 10042272905833.
No other products or lot numbers are involved, the company confirmed. The recall began on June 22, 2026, and is ongoing.
"The defect could cause the product to spoil, and the decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the quality and safety of our products," an Amy's spokesperson said.
No injuries have been reported.

Health officials advise consumers who purchased the specified lot to discard the soup or return it to the store for a refund.
