Actress Lola Petticrew has opened up about the challenging role of Catherine, a serial killer in Hulu's upcoming thriller series Furious.
The show premieres with three episodes on July 27, 2026.

In the series, Catherine is pursued by FBI agent Alice, played by Emmy Rossum, along with partners Danny and Nora, portrayed by Scoot McNairy and Quincy Tyler Bernstine.
Petticrew described the character as someone who hunts down her past abusers.
Moral Boundaries and Empathy
Petticrew noted that Catherine's story is designed to push viewers' moral boundaries. "I definitely found a lot to relate to in Catherine.
I think many people will," she said.
The actor added that the role might make audiences uncomfortable but that is the intended effect.

"I think even people who don't necessarily see themselves in her will hopefully empathize with her a little," Petticrew explained.
She emphasized the importance of exploring dark themes through complex characters. The series aims to challenge viewers while keeping them engaged.
Collaborative Experience
Petticrew praised her co-stars, calling the experience a "gift." She said the ensemble cast was phenomenal and she learned from each of them.
"Getting to go into work every day and see other people work like that is an honor," she said.
The actor highlighted the intense but rewarding process of digging into difficult material with top professionals.

After the initial three-episode drop, new episodes of Furious will air weekly on Mondays. The season finale is scheduled for August 31, 2026.
