Dutch player Tallon Griekspoor will take on Chilean left-hander Alejandro Tabilo in the first round of the Mubadala Citi DC Open in Washington on July 27.
The match marks the start of the summer hard-court swing leading up to the 2026 US Open.

Griekspoor, currently ranked 66th globally, reached the final of the Washington tournament in 2023.
Over the past twelve months, Tabilo has climbed from 106th to 30th in the world rankings, essentially swapping positions with the Dutchman.
Both players have struggled for momentum recently.
Tabilo has won only two of his last eight matches, while Griekspoor has claimed three victories in his last ten outings.
The Dutchman holds a 9-16 season record, hampered by injury concerns.

He has won six of his last seven hard-court matches and dropped only one set across his past four appearances on the surface.
