Coaches and Players React

Rapid started the season strong with a home win against Sepsi, while FC Botoșani drew 2-2 with FC Voluntari in their opening game.

Rapid's coach, Daniel Pancu, emphasized thorough preparation for every match regardless of the opponent's standing.

"We prepare every game seriously, whether we play the first-placed team or the last," said Pancu, stressing the importance of training as the key to motivation and success.

He also addressed the recent departures of key players Andrei Borza and Jakub Hromada, acknowledging the challenge but expressing confidence in the squad's ability to adapt.

"Borza was difficult to replace, especially in our offensive plans due to his connection with Petrila," Pancu said.

"Hromada was excellent defensively, but we are here to find solutions, not to complain."

Rapid's captain Lars Kramer highlighted the positive impact of Pancu's coaching style, noting the coach's attentive presence during training maintains players' focus.

"He is everywhere and does a good job being alongside everyone," Kramer said.

"You can't skip training because he notices even the smallest lapse, which helps many players stay concentrated."
