Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso has dismissed the possibility of a fourth stint with Alpine for the 2027 Formula 1 season, citing ongoing tensions with the team's executive leadership.
The two-time world champion, who turns 45 in July 2026, confirmed that his current team remains his sole operational priority.

Speculation about Alonso's future had intensified as his contract nears its end, with reports suggesting Alpine was considering a reunion.
However, organizational conflicts at Enstone have closed the door on any potential return.
A major obstacle is Alonso's reluctance to work again with Luca de Meo, who recently became CEO of Kering, the parent company of upcoming Alpine sponsor Gucci.
Tensions between the two escalated during Alonso's previous tenure at the French outfit before his departure in 2022.
Addressing his future ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, Alonso clarified his contractual commitment and limited options for the coming seasons.
"I have a contract," said Alonso.

The Spaniard's stance effectively restricts his choices to extending his driving career with Aston Martin or transitioning into an ambassadorial role while pursuing other racing series.
Reflecting on Alonso's previous exit from Enstone, de Meo acknowledged past management missteps.
"He's an incredible guy, and he slipped through our fingers at Alpine, and it was our mistake," said de Meo.
The executive noted the lingering mutual respect despite the administrative errors that led to Alonso's departure.
"Perhaps we didn't treat him as we should have, but we still have a very good relationship.
I hope he succeeds at Aston Martin, because he deserves it," said de Meo.

As Aston Martin evaluates its vehicle performance and upcoming engine regulation changes, Alonso remains focused on leading the Silverstone-based team's technical development.
