Journal Entries Released

The subpoena follows the release of over 1,100 pages of Fauci's personal journal entries from 2019 to 2022.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.

Kennedy Jr. said the records were recovered from 11 separate servers after an eight-month search and turned over to the committee.

Senator Paul has accused Fauci of misleading the public about the origins of COVID-19 and approving gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China.

Fauci has consistently denied these allegations and defended his public statements and oversight of research.

Fauci's diaries document his early assessments of the virus, internal scientific discussions, and tensions with former President Donald Trump's administration.

He maintains that natural spillover remains the most likely origin of the virus.

Former President Joe Biden issued a preemptive pardon to shield Fauci from potential politically motivated prosecutions.
