More than 100 firefighters have brought a massive wildfire near Britain's Sizewell B nuclear power station to a stabilizing position on Friday, following three days of intensive operations across 150 hectares of dry heathland in Dunwich Heath, near Leiston.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service reported that emergency crews maintained an overnight watch to manage breakout fires.

The blaze, which began on Wednesday evening, damaged portions of the RSPB Minsmere nature reserve and caused power outages to 116 properties, with electricity successfully restored to 111 homes.
Officials confirmed the fire does not pose a threat to the nearby Sizewell B nuclear power station or the adjacent construction site for Sizewell C.
Approximately 50 people were evacuated from their homes and a local holiday park to a temporary rest center in Westleton.
Ongoing Monitoring and Containment Efforts
Deputy Chief Fire Officer Henry Griffin provided an update on the emergency operations during a broadcast interview.
"We have a couple of fire fronts we are actively monitoring, checking on their wind speed, checking on that wind direction, to make sure any reignition is controlled and monitored throughout the coming hours," said Henry Griffin, Deputy Chief Fire Officer for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire crews are using seawater dropped from helicopters and filling trenches with water to contain the blaze, which spread rapidly due to extreme heat and dry weather.
The Met Office noted that Suffolk received only 2% of its average monthly rainfall for July.
