Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their smallest monthly inflows on record in July 2026, signaling cautious institutional demand amid market volatility, according to SoSoValue data.
Bitcoin spot ETFs pulled in just $205 million in net inflows this month, marking a sharp drop from previous months that saw outflows of $2.43 billion in May and $4.52 billion in June, CoinDesk reported.

Ethereum ETFs performed better with $342.9 million in inflows for July, maintaining an advantage over Bitcoin for the month despite a recent wave of withdrawals.
XRP and Solana ETFs saw modest inflows of $13.61 million and $13.82 million, respectively.
BlackRock Drives Inflows, Others See Outflows
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was a major driver of Bitcoin ETF inflows, with clients purchasing $183.41 million worth of Bitcoin recently, contributing to over $700 million in inflows across several days in July, CryptoBriefing reported.
"BlackRock alone accounted for nearly 80% of all institutional Bitcoin buying happening through ETFs on that single trading session," the report added.
However, other Bitcoin ETFs faced outflows.
Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) lost $43.1 million, and the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) saw $14.6 million withdrawn, indicating that the rebound is not widespread across all Bitcoin ETFs, CoinTribune noted.
Ethereum ETFs experienced $32.9 million in outflows on July 29, despite attracting $342.9 million so far in July, with BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) gaining $5.2 million while Fidelity’s FETH fund lost $16.1 million.
