Princess Cruises and MSC Cruises have announced their 2028 summer Alaska sailing programs, adding more ships and enhanced experiences to meet growing demand.
Princess will deploy eight vessels for over 185 departures across 14 itineraries, with bookings opening on August 11.

MSC Cruises will launch its third Alaskan season on April 24, 2028, with weekly seven-night voyages running through September 18, 2028.
Princess Fleet and Itineraries
The Princess fleet in Alaska includes the new Star Princess, along with Discovery Princess, Emerald Princess, Royal Princess, Coral Princess, Crown Princess, Island Princess, and Ruby Princess.
Voyages range from four to 16 days, departing from Seattle, Vancouver, Anchorage, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
Princess is also integrating its 'North to Alaska' educational and culinary programs with stays at its lodges in Denali National Park and wilderness rail travel.
Jim Berra, Chief Commercial Officer of Princess Cruises, highlighted the company's nearly 60 years of experience in the region.

Guests can choose roundtrip options or one-way 'Voyage of the Glaciers' routes between Vancouver and Anchorage, focusing on glacier viewing and shore excursions like helicopter landings and wildlife tracking.
MSC Upgrades and Yacht Club
MSC Cruises will operate from Seattle using the MSC Poesia, which recently underwent a major refurbishment.
The upgraded ship features two new specialty dining venues, Butcher's Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar, plus an expanded spa and fitness center.
MSC has also introduced the MSC Yacht Club concept on the vessel, offering 69 suites with private concierge services, dedicated dining, and exclusive lounges.

Onorato, a company representative, said the enhancements will deliver the finest hospitality MSC is known for.
