Mike Golic Sr. is returning to ESPN Radio, this time alongside his son, Mike Golic Jr. The duo will host a new weekday morning program called "The Golics," set to premiere this Monday.
The announcement was reported by Sports Illustrated and Awful Announcing.

This return marks a new chapter for Golic Sr., who previously spent 17 years co-hosting the network's flagship morning show "Mike & Mike" with Mike Greenberg.
That partnership ended in 2017.
Golic Sr. later hosted with Trey Wingo and his son before leaving ESPN in 2020 to broadcast for DraftKings and FanDuel Sports Network.
During an appearance on the SI Media With Jimmy Traina podcast, Golic Sr. addressed the abrupt end of "Mike & Mike" and his current relationship with Greenberg.
"It did not end well," he said.
He compared the transition to his football career, recalling how he was cut by the Houston Oilers before joining the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins.
"You move on and you study the task at hand," Golic explained.
Regarding Greenberg, Golic noted they don't keep in touch often, but when they do, it's cordial. "Occasionally we'll check in.

Quite honestly, mostly it's about how the kids are doing," he said, adding that their show was always family-oriented.
Golic Sr. also mentioned that Greenberg texted him after the news of his return, expressing happiness for him and his son.
"It's cordial," he reiterated.
Beyond the new show, Golic Sr. shared a personal goal for his second stint at ESPN: to be part of the network's annual Fourth of July hot dog eating contest.
"I have never been a part of it.
I am hoping as I hopefully finish my career at ESPN I will be asked to be on that broadcast," he said.
"The Golics" will air weekdays from 10 a. m.
