Renault has shipped over 100 Twingo E-Tech electric hatchbacks to the UK, but they won't be driven on British roads just yet.
The cars are destined for showroom displays nationwide.

These left-hand drive units haven't been approved for UK roads, so they'll remain locked in showrooms for visitors to admire.
The official market launch is scheduled for late 2026.
Specs and Features of the Twingo E-Tech
All 100 cars are painted in Absolute Green and sit on 16-inch black steel wheels.
They feature full-LED lights, sliding rear seats, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch digital cluster.
Under the skin, the Twingo E-Tech uses the AmpR Small platform shared with the R5 and Nissan Micra.

A single electric motor produces 80 hp and 175 Nm of torque, powered by a 27.5 kWh LFP battery.
The WLTP range is 163 miles, and DC fast charging at 50 kW takes the battery from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
UK pricing is yet to be confirmed, but Renault promises a starting figure under £20,000.
In France, the Twingo starts at €19,490, with incentives reducing it to €15,870. Rivals include the Dacia Spring, Leapmotor T03, and the upcoming VW ID.
