Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic secured a spot on the 2025-26 All-NBA First Team on Sunday, May 24, 2026, marking the sixth All-NBA selection of his eight-year career.
The 27-year-old guard landed on all 100 media ballots, receiving 91 first-team votes and nine second-team votes.
According to the Los Angeles Lakers, Doncic became the fifth player in NBA history to achieve six All-NBA first-team honors at or before age 27.
The achievement places him alongside Nikola Jokic as the 22nd and 23rd players in league history to earn six or more career first-team selections.
2025-26 All-NBA Team Selections
First Team: Luka Doncic (Lakers), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Thunder), Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Victor Wembanyama (Spurs), Cade Cunningham (Pistons)
Second Team: Jaylen Brown (Celtics), Kawhi Leonard (Clippers), Kevin Durant (Rockets), Jalen Brunson (Knicks), Donovan Mitchell (Cavaliers)

Official league data showed that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Jaylen Brown, and Doncic were the only players named on every single ballot.
Doncic reached this milestone after missing out on the honors during his rookie season and the 2024-25 season, when injuries limited him to 50 games.
Doncic claimed his second scoring title in three seasons by averaging a league-high 33.5 points, 8.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds, and 1.6 steals.
He also set a Lakers franchise record for the most 3-pointers made in a single season with 254 conversions, which ranked third across the entire NBA.
The regular season featured historic milestones, including a season-opening stretch where Doncic scored at least 40 points in his first three games.
League records show Wilt Chamberlain is the only other player to accomplish that feat.
The performance helped stabilize the franchise early in the year.
While LeBron James remained sidelined for the first 14 games due to sciatica, Doncic and Austin Reaves guided the Lakers to a 15-4 record during the opening six weeks, with Doncic averaging 35.1 points during that span.
The guard earned the Western Conference Player of the Month award twice, specifically for his performances in January and March.
His most efficient stretch occurred after the All-Star break, where he averaged 35.8 points, 7.8 assists, and 7.7 rebounds across 21 games, leading the Lakers to a 16-5 record in those appearances.
The regular season ended early for Doncic on April 2, 2026, when he suffered a Grade 2 left hamstring strain during a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He concluded the season with 64 qualified games played, having also missed two December games due to the birth of his daughter in Europe, which the league categorized as an extraordinary circumstance.
