American golfer Wyndham Clark has signed an exclusive agreement with PING to permanently use the brand's Scottsdale TEC putter.

The deal was finalized on June 17, 2026, ahead of the U. S.

Open tournament.

The four-time PGA Tour winner and 2023 U. S.

Open Champion had been using the custom-built Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset model since April at the Houston Open.

According to reports from GolfMagic and Golf Retailing, the partnership is now official.

Recent Success With the New Putter

Clark secured a victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson last month with a 30-under-par finish.

He set the PGA Tour tournament record for total strokes gained in putting, gaining more than 12.5 shots on the field and holing 158 feet of putts during a final-round 60.

The specific custom-built mallet putter features a black-on-white color scheme, a 38-inch shaft, and a 17-inch Superstroke Zenergy 3.0 grip.

It also includes a 400-gram head, a 20-degree lie angle, and a 3-degree loft, while incorporating eye-tracking alignment technology.

PING CEO and President John K. Solheim noted that Clark comes into the U.

S. Open as one of the hottest players in the world.

He highlighted that Clark has steadily climbed into the top 20 of the FedEx Cup rankings on the strength of a win and a third-place finish in his last three tournaments.

Solheim explained that the Scottsdale TEC line is designed exclusively as mallets to support growing market demand.

The line uses specific center-of-gravity placements for stroke-type fitting, and eye-tracking research has provided insights to help golfers improve focus and sink more putts.

Clark expressed that the distinct white finish and technical visual configuration provided immediate setup confidence on the greens.

He noted significant improvement in his putting since switching to the PING Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset putter in April.

“The white finish first got my attention and when I started rolling putts with it, it set up easily, and gave me immediate confidence,” Clark said.

He added that the onset design, which places the shaft near the center line of the putter head, matched his visual alignment preferences and improved his consistency.

Financial terms and the exact duration of the exclusive equipment agreement were not disclosed by either party.
