YouTube creator Chance Taylor defeated professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau in a playoff hole to win the $100,000 prize in the finale of DeChambeau's 10-day Backyard Games competition at his home in Dallas, Texas.

The 26-year-old creator from Gate City, Virginia, eliminated several top online golf personalities, including Wesley Bryan, George Bryan, Grant Horvat, and Brad Dalke, to reach the three-hole championship match against DeChambeau.

The finale featured DeChambeau's signature shot over his own house.

Both players traded remarkable shots throughout the match, tying after three holes and forcing a closest-to-the-pin playoff on DeChambeau's home course.

House Shot and Playoff Drama

During the house shot approach, DeChambeau's ball settled two inches from the cup, drawing immediate praise from his opponent.

"No way… that's unbelievable. Wow, that's pretty, pretty good hands," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

Taylor hit his approach shot to within two feet on the same hole, maintaining pressure on the major champion down the final stretch.

"That's the best shot I've ever hit with 100K on the line," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

As the match moved into the sudden-death playoff hole, Taylor expressed respect for competing against DeChambeau in the final stage of the series.

"Regardless of how this ends, I've pushed the Final Boss," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

After Taylor stuck his playoff tee shot within feet of the pin, he acknowledged the pressure standard of the situation.

"I wanted that closer; I feel like you're about to stuff this thing," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

Taylor added another comment as DeChambeau prepared to take his final swing.

"If you beat me after the last three holes, you deserve it," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

DeChambeau recognized the difficulty of his situation before taking his final playoff shot over the green.

"I don't like my odds," said Bryson DeChambeau, professional golfer.

DeChambeau's ball failed to spin back near the hole, stopping nine feet away and securing the victory for Taylor.

"Chance, you are the first-ever Backyard Games champion," said Bryson DeChambeau, professional golfer.

DeChambeau formally presented the cash reward to the tournament champion following the match.

"This money is now yours," said Bryson DeChambeau, professional golfer.

DeChambeau later reflected on the outcome of the challenge on social media following the broadcast release.

"I can't believe it all ended this way," said Bryson DeChambeau, professional golfer.

Upon receiving the glass case containing the $100,000 cash prize, Taylor reacted to his victory before outlining his immediate spending plans.

"This is crazy," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

Taylor shared his plans for the prize money immediately following the trophy presentation.

"Y'all are about to get some big block content," said Chance Taylor, YouTube creator.

Under the rules of the competition, the prize money would have been awarded to a random social media follower had DeChambeau won the finale.

The successful content series comes as LIV Golf undergoes Chapter 11 bankruptcy restructuring, with DeChambeau expanding his digital audience to nearly 2.9 million YouTube subscribers.
