The Zwarte Cross festival organizer, Feestfabriek Alles Komt Goed BV, announced an official media partnership with SpecialTV on June 30, 2026.
The collaboration aims to deliver inclusive coverage of the upcoming 2026 festival edition.
SpecialTV is a professional media production company that creates television and online content with a team of individuals with intellectual disabilities, known as "Specials."
The platform will produce exclusive reports, interviews, atmospheric impressions, and unique stories across various festival segments, including music, motocross, theater, and stunts.
The festival organization intends to develop this collaboration into a long-term partnership, aligning it with established relationships such as Amnesty International, GeenStijl, Radio Veronica, the Ministry of Defense, and Omroep Gelderland.
Zwarte Cross spokesperson Bob Kemper expressed immense pride in the newly formed collaboration, emphasizing that the partnership aligns perfectly with their shared organizational vision.
The collaborative effort highlights a broader commitment to visibility and integration within major cultural operations.
SpecialTV founder Willie Oosterhuis explained the transition of the organization from a leisure activity into a professional setup.
The event has grown significantly since its inception, drawing more than 270,000 visitors in 2025 across nearly 40 stages.
Kemper noted that the festival has always embraced an unconventional structure without a fixed target audience.
The diversity of the festival is reflected behind the scenes through various unique partnerships, including collaborations with Museum MORE, FEBO, University of Twente, and Red Bull.
