Municipalities throughout San Joaquin County have organized a series of festivals, parades, and pyrotechnic displays starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Stockton, Lodi, Manteca, and Tracy have scheduled localized public events over the holiday weekend, according to aol. com and stocktonia.

Stockton Events
Stockton family activities begin with the Unity in the Community Fest on Friday, July 3, at Banner Island Ballpark.
The event runs from 2 to 10 p. m.
and features movie screenings, a kids zone, a petting zoo, and a mechanical bull.
Admission is $11.50, and parking is $10. The Stockton Ports and Black to Business organize the collaborative event.
"Unity in the Community Fest is an opportunity to bring people together in a fun and welcoming environment while showcasing the incredible organizations, businesses, and individuals that make our community special," said Jordan Feneck, Stockton Ports' general manager.
Stockton will host its main Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4, starting at 10 a. m.
with a downtown parade co-hosted by the city and the American Legion Karl Ross Post 16.
The parade route proceeds up North El Dorado Street, turns onto Oak Street, and travels down Center Street past grandstands at the Civic Auditorium and DeCarli Plaza.
Festivities transition to the Weber Point Events Center at 5 p. m.
for a free community festival with local vendors, artisan booths, and a dedicated Kid Zone.
Musical entertainment features the Latin Magic Band at 5:30 p. m.
followed by the Stockton Symphony at 8 p. m.
, concluding with a waterfront fireworks showcase at 9:30 p. m.
Public parking for the downtown festival will be restricted to city lots and on-street spaces as the main lot is reserved for operational staff.
Concurrently, the annual Barron Hilton Fireworks Display returns to Mandeville Island on Friday, July 3, from 7 to 10 p.
m. , offering free admission at Mandeville Tip Park along the San Joaquin River.
The late Barron Hilton established the family tradition after co-founding the Venice Island Duck Club 62 years ago.
The program is produced by Pyro-Spectaculars by Souza, with all 1,200 shots synchronized to patriotic music.
Lodi Events
Lodi commences its regional events on Wednesday, July 1, with the Celebrate America event at Hutchins Street Square West Park from 5:30 to 8 p.
m.
This free family-friendly event invites attendees to dress in red, white, and blue and enjoy live entertainment featuring the Lodi Community Band and the Stockton Portsmen.
Lodi continues its programming on Saturday, July 4, at Lodi Lake Park, opening with a Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at 7 a.
m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $8 for children aged 5 to 12.
The park will restrict general public access from 11 a. m.
to 4 p. m.
before reopening for the evening festival, which celebrates Lodi's recognition as America's Favorite Small Towns 2026.
Live musical acts Blood Orange Liqueur and Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers will perform ahead of the 9:30 p.

Manteca opens its Independence Day schedule on Saturday, July 4, with a Rotary Club pancake breakfast at the Deaf Puppy Club from 7 to 10 a.
