Relic Entertainment has announced Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand, a new standalone expansion that introduces a roguelike twist to the World War II real-time strategy series.
The title will launch on Steam on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

According to PCGamesN, the standalone expansion operates independently from the base game. Players do not need to own the original Company of Heroes 3 to play.
It supports both single-player and cooperative runs.
The expansion adapts strategy gameplay into a wave-based survival format. Players must withstand 12 increasingly difficult waves of enemy assaults.
During a run, they can choose tactical upgrades such as ranger squads with weapon drops, M4 Sherman Bulldozer tanks, or command abilities like airstrikes and long-range bombardments.
Factions and Progression
Four factions from the franchise are included: US Forces, British Forces, Wehrmacht, and Deutsches Afrikakorps.
Each faction has a unique progression tree that permanently increases power as goals are achieved across five battlegrounds designed for wave-based combat.

To manage player progression, the expansion features eight difficulty levels and an optional endless mode.
It also includes 36 boss units and 18 dynamic events that players can encounter during runs.
The title will be priced at $29.99 / £23.99, with a 10% launch discount for all buyers.
Current owners of Company of Heroes 3 will receive a 20% bundle saving. The game is available for wishlisting on Steam.
The launch comes as the franchise approaches its 20th anniversary in September 2026.
Relic Entertainment has also announced Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition to update the original game, alongside recent battlegroup downloadable content releases.
