McConnell was admitted to the hospital on June 14.
An initial statement said he was receiving excellent care, and a week later his office confirmed he would miss votes.
A subsequent update noted he continues to improve and appreciates the support.
No further updates have been issued, and a spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.
The 84-year-old Kentucky senator has faced multiple health challenges in recent years.
In March 2023, he suffered a concussion and missed weeks of work after a fall at a Washington hotel.
Later that summer, he twice froze during press conferences, requiring assistance from colleagues and staff.
A year later, McConnell fell again and sprained his wrist while leaving a GOP luncheon.
He contracted polio as a child and has long had difficulty walking and climbing stairs.
In 2019, he tripped at his Kentucky home and needed surgery for a fractured shoulder.
McConnell is the longest-serving Senate leader in history, having led Senate Republicans from 2007 until last year.
He stepped down from the leadership role but remains an active rank-and-file senator, often using a wheelchair to move around the Capitol.
He is serving his final term, which ends in January.
The lack of updates from his office has drawn attention as Senate Republicans hold a narrow majority ahead of the midterm elections.
