Broadway Barks will return to Shubert Alley on July 11 for its 28th annual cat and dog adoption event.
Stage stars Bernadette Peters and Andrew Rannells will host the free public gathering.
Produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the event begins at 3 p. m.
with pet meet-and-greets. Celebrity presentations will follow on stage from 5 p.
m. to 6:30 p.
m.
Participants this year include Ayo Edebiri, Melissa Barrera, Laurie Metcalf, and J. Harrison Ghee.
Over 27 years, the event has introduced more than 2,500 pets with an 85 percent adoption rate.

James Norton is scheduled to star in a West End staging of Hamlet.
German director Thomas Ostermeier will lead the production, expected to run in the fall of 2027.
"I am pleased to be revisiting Hamlet for the West End with the great stage actor, James Norton," Ostermeier said.
"It will be my first time directing Shakespeare in English."
