Reality star Taylor Frankie Paul will return to film only the opening credits for season five of Hulu's "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" after production was paused earlier this year.
According to production sources, Paul's participation is limited to two days of shooting and does not include final confessionals or regular scenes for the rest of the season.
The restricted schedule follows a temporary production halt in mid-March due to an alleged domestic incident between Paul and Dakota Mortensen.
Local authorities declined to prosecute the case, and filming resumed in April.
Tensions escalated online after cast members posted a TikTok video dancing to "Big Time Rush" with a caption about surviving.
In response, Paul changed her social media bio to "Creator of MomTok," sparking backlash from co-stars.
"Looks like thriving to me, I'll show you surviving," Paul commented on the video, referencing her stressful year that included custody battles and rehab.
She also expressed frustration over the lack of support from fellow cast members during her personal struggles.
"Just because I didn't doesn't mean I couldn't. Got a whole team going at me during my lowest.
Keep aiming I guess … your shots are terrible …" Paul wrote in a social media post, sharing screenshots of offers she declined.
Cast member Mikayla Matthews criticized Paul's new title, calling it unsupportive of the group's collective achievements.
"Bashing accomplishments of women who've done nothing but celebrate yours is definitely a choice," Matthews responded.
Whitney Leavitt, who announced she will exit the series after season five, mocked the designation by posting a lip-sync video about founding the social media group.
"It's not founding mother…it's founding motherSSSSS," Leavitt captioned her July 8 post.
Jessi Draper initially defended Paul, urging fans to stop sending hate, but later deleted her video.
She then published another video on July 8 to clarify her stance, stating she maintains a daily friendship with Paul while working professionally with the rest of the cast.
"OK, respectfully, you guys need to calm down," Draper said, noting she is also navigating her own divorce.
She explained that the cast video was meant to be a positive throwback, not a targeted insult toward Paul.
"I still support Taylor," she confirmed, adding that she defends Paul behind the scenes.
Draper urged the public to separate online speculation from reality and asked viewers to wait for the episodes to air on Hulu for full context.
