Prada has named Zendaya as its new Global Ambassador for Prada Beauty.

The announcement came on July 30, 2026, placing the American actress at the center of the brand's upcoming fragrance campaign.

Zendaya takes over from Emma Watson as the face of the Prada Paradoxe perfume line.

In the campaign images, she wears a bubblegum-pink satin micro minidress styled by her longtime image architect, Law Roach.

Campaign Details and Public Reaction

The sleeveless A-line dress features a high rounded neckline with white pearl embellishments and front flap pockets.

Selena Gomez previously wore the same Prada Spring/Summer 2026 runway piece, but Zendaya opted for a minimal look without the crinkled underskirt.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins directed the promotional campaign for the Paradoxe Sweet Chemistry Eau de Parfum.

In the shots, Zendaya holds the triangular pink fragrance bottle against a soft makeup palette and a 1960s-inspired retro curly bob.

The announcement sparked widespread discussion on fashion forums. Commenter Summer Day noted, "Cute how she and Tom are both Prada ambassadors."

Another observer, Kite, questioned the frequency of major celebrity endorsements: "Do we only have 5 celebrities left in the world?

This is the tackiest thing anyone could ever do. Husband and wife.

Grim."

Critics compared the new campaign to previous installments. DK92 said, "Horrible!

Actually, none of the campaigns for this perfume are any good. I do think it suited Emma Watson better."

HChloe commented, "She looks pretty, but Zendaya is not a Prada girl for me."

Questions arose about the brand's choice of high-profile talent. Thiago remarked, "Prada is so desperate these days.

No offence to Zendaya, but she's everywhere at the moment. Couldn't they have picked someone more exclusive?"

Other observers focused on styling details.

Thefrenchy noted, "I like her, so I don't mind this, but that dress falling off her shoulder is… a choice.

Really curious about the entire image and how it reads in its entirety. Looks more accidental than intentional and makes you look away, which isn't a great strategy."

The partnership marks the latest major commercial project for Zendaya, who is also set to star in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey.
