The Detroit Tigers are set to add their top prospect, Max Clark, to the Major League roster as they prepare for a road game against the Athletics in West Sacramento on Friday, July 31.
Ranked 13th overall by MLB Pipeline, Clark earned a promotion after batting . 276/.

Clark's recent performance features a . 494 expected slugging percentage and a barrel rate of 11.1 percent in July.
His 90.8 in-zone contact rate ranks among the top in Triple-A, reflecting his refined approach at the plate.
"The biggest thing I've been working on over the last month or so is just direction and allowing the barrel to work through the middle of the zone as long as possible," Clark said.
Clark is also known for his speed and defensive skills, having recorded six sprint speeds above 30 feet per second with Toledo this year.
His arm strength from center field is considered among the best on the Tigers' roster.
The promotion comes as the Tigers face injuries and underperformance in center field, with Parker Meadows sidelined and Javier Báez recently returning from an ankle injury.
Matt Vierling’s groin injury further opened the door for Clark's call-up.

Hinch confirmed Clark will play regularly in center field, with James Outman providing occasional support.
"You come to the big leagues, the emotions are going to be the same," Hinch said.
"His whole family, I think, was in the lobby [at] the hotel, and it doesn’t matter what the circumstance is."
Rookie Kevin McGonigle, who debuted earlier and was drafted alongside Clark in 2023, expressed excitement about reuniting with his teammate.
"Super, super excited to share the field with him again," McGonigle said. "Feels like it’s been forever, even though it’s been since spring."
Clark was the third overall pick in the 2023 draft and signed for $7.7 million.
His arrival marks a hopeful sign for the Tigers as they compete in the AL Central and approach the trade deadline.
