Kevin Owens punched his ticket to the men's Money in the Bank ladder match by winning a Triple Threat qualifier on Friday's WWE SmackDown at the Ball Arena in Denver.
Owens defeated Cody Rhodes and Johnny Gargano in the bout that determined the final entrant.
The finish hinged on Randy Orton, who pulled the referee out of the ring to stop Rhodes from scoring a pinfall.
Orton then launched a ringside attack on his rival, opening the door for Owens to capitalize.
Rhodes tried to answer with a punt kick near the apron, but Gargano intercepted him with a dive to the outside.
Back inside the ring, Gargano connected with One Final Beat on Owens, who kicked out before landing a decisive Pop-up Powerbomb to take the victory.
