Sir Kevin Sinfield completed his seven-day ultramarathon challenge on October 3, 2026, arriving at Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester before the Super League Grand Final.
The former Leeds Rhinos star ran to raise funds for motor neurone disease causes.
The fundraiser began in Hull on September 27 and visited all 12 Super League clubs.
Each day consisted of 7km blocks every hour, with an extra mile where members of the MND community joined the run.
Since launching his annual endurance challenges in 2020, Sinfield and his team have collected more than £13m in honor of his late teammate Rob Burrow, who died in 2024.
Prominent figures including the Prince and Princess of Wales, former England manager Sir Gareth Southgate, and boxer Josh Warrington supported him along the route.
Addressing the crowd at Old Trafford, Sinfield highlighted the unity shown by rugby league fans across the country.
"The rugby league community has got right behind the MND community and Rob would be so proud to see how you've supported and cared, and showed your love for a community that really needs us," Sinfield said.
The 45-year-old former player brought out the trophy before the match between Warrington Wolves and Wakefield Trinity, where his son Jack Sinfield competed.
All funds raised will support organizations including the MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, My Name5 Doddie Foundation, Darby Rimmer Foundation, MND Scotland, and the Irish MND Association.
Speaking to BBC Radio 4's PM, Rob Burrow's widow expressed her pride in Sinfield's continuous dedication over the years.
"It's bittersweet that Rob's not here today to see Kevin finish his final challenge but Rob will be with us in spirit and it's just testimony to Kevin that he's so humbled to do this not just for Rob but for the whole MND community," Lindsey said.
Lindsey Burrow emphasized the emotional impact of the week while reflecting on the sustained fundraising efforts since 2020.
"It's just incredible.
I am in complete awe of the efforts of Kevin and his team over the last seven days, and not just over the last seven days but over the last seven years," Lindsey added.
