Marvel Comics and WEBTOON Entertainment have announced a new digital comics app scheduled for release on November 16, 2026.
The service will offer access to more than 35,000 digital titles and officially replace Marvel Unlimited, which will sunset on December 7, 2026.
Developed by WEBTOON Entertainment for mobile and web platforms, the app will feature digital comics from Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Studios.
It supports both traditional page-based comics and vertical-scroll formats, along with personalized recommendation tools and Pull List features.
Subscription Tiers and Transition for Existing Subscribers
The app will offer two subscription tiers.
The Base tier costs $9.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with new issues available three months after print release.
The Ultimate tier is priced at $12.49 per month or $99.99 per year, providing access 30 days after print release.
Existing Marvel Unlimited subscribers will receive prorated refunds starting November 16, 2026.
They can also migrate their saved libraries and reading history to WEBTOON accounts before the December 7 sunset date.
Marvel leadership highlighted the expansion into broader digital comic distribution.

"We're excited to partner with WEBTOON, industry leaders in the space, to create a new app that can continue to grow and evolve with the way readers discover and experience comics," Abdo added.
WEBTOON representatives emphasized the technical collaboration behind the launch.
