Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson exploded for 103 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the first half, powering his team to a 24-7 lead over the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome on October 5, 2026.
Robinson needed just 86 seconds to find the end zone, breaking off a 59-yard touchdown run along the left sideline on Monday Night Football.
Left tackle Jake Matthews sealed the edge with a key block past defender Chase Young, springing Robinson for the early score.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. set up the drive with completions of 12 yards to Drake London and nine yards to Austin Hooper.
Later in the first quarter, Robinson capped another possession with a four-yard touchdown rush.
His 78 rushing yards in the opening quarter marked the highest single-quarter total by a Falcons player since Michael Turner gained 117 yards against the Detroit Lions on September 7, 2008, according to Falcons reporter Will McFadden.
Robinson said his approach doesn't change regardless of kickoff time.
"Whether it's primetime, whether it's a one o'clock game, they're all the same in terms of my mentality.
Everybody watches you on TV, and they watch you in the stands," Robinson told reporters before the divisional matchup.
Atlanta's offense racked up 255 total yards in the first two quarters, while the Saints managed 147.
Penix completed 10 of 15 passes for 125 yards, and London caught four passes for 82 yards.
Backup running back Brian Robinson Jr. added 35 rushing yards and a four-yard touchdown on nine carries, plus a five-yard reception.
He took the final carry of the half from Atlanta's own 8-yard line to manage injury risk for the starter.
The Saints, playing their "Domecoming" game commemorating the 20th anniversary of the franchise's return following Hurricane Katrina, recorded just 15 rushing yards on seven carries in the first half.
New Orleans quarterback Tyler Shough completed 12 of 19 passes for 139 yards, and running back Alvin Kamara scored the team's only touchdown on a three-yard run.
Both NFC South teams entered the contest with 1-2 season records.
