JPMorgan Chase Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon warned that Anthropic's Mythos artificial intelligence model has driven a tenfold increase in global cybersecurity risks.

He said the model has created previously unknown digital vulnerabilities across the financial sector.

Dimon made the remarks in an interview with Bloomberg TV, highlighting the structural threats posed by automated agents and rapid AI advancements to digital infrastructure.

Infrastructure and Energy Demands

Dimon also addressed the growing infrastructure demands of complex AI systems.

He noted that modern data centers must secure local community support and reliable energy access before construction begins.

Despite the heightened security risks, JPMorgan Chase retained its top position for the fifth consecutive year in the Evident AI Index.

The index ranks banking institutions based on their AI capabilities and integration, placing JPMorgan ahead of Capital One Financial and Royal Bank of Canada.
