Black Friday 2026 is set for November 27, and shoppers in the United Kingdom and Cyprus can expect promotions from luxury fashion retailers.
Online discounts may continue through Cyber Monday on November 30, according to reports from the Standard and Politis published October 19.
Luxury retailers and multi-brand fashion platforms are already listing discounted products ahead of the main shopping event.
The promotions may cover designer clothing, footwear, jewelry, and accessories, giving shoppers a chance to find reduced prices before the holiday season.
What Luxury Shoppers Can Expect
The Standard's early-deals guide highlights Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, MyTheresa, and Ssense among the retailers to watch.
Current sale selections include an AllSaints cropped leather jacket and Sif Jakobs earrings at Selfridges.
Net-A-Porter lists a Nour Hammour suede jacket and Aquazzura boots, while MyTheresa features an Our Legacy denim jacket and an Acne Studios scarf.
Ssense also carries products from designers including Rick Owens and Vivienne Westwood.
The Standard noted a Charles Jeffrey Loverboy scarf beanie discounted by 62 percent and a Vivienne Westwood Orb necklace among its selected items.
In 2025, Black Friday discounts included reductions of up to 70 percent at Reiss and 50 percent at Ssense, Dr Martens, Missoma, Arket, and Liberty.
Selfridges offered reductions of up to 40 percent during the previous year's shopping period, while MyTheresa ran a sitewide promotion with discounts of up to 50 percent on designer items.
According to the guide, Selfridges does not necessarily label its seasonal promotions explicitly as Black Friday sales.
In Cyprus, Politis reported that retailers may begin promotions before November 27 and continue them through Cyber Monday.
Individual businesses will determine their own promotional schedules and terms.
Black Friday's date changes annually because it follows Thanksgiving in the United States, held on the fourth Thursday of November.
The shopping event falls on the following Friday, with Cyber Monday taking place the Monday immediately afterward.
Politis cautioned that a large advertised discount does not automatically guarantee the lowest available price.
Shoppers are advised to compare the same product across different retailers and verify technical specifications and model numbers.
They should also account for delivery charges, return conditions, and warranty coverage when calculating the total cost.
For online purchases from unfamiliar retailers, consumers should verify a seller's business details, sales terms, and returns policy before completing payment.
Extra checks matter particularly when promotional pricing makes a purchase appear unusually attractive.
