Olympiacos BC captain Kostas Papanikolaou has called for a strong fan turnout at OAKA ahead of the team's EuroLeague Final Four semifinal against Fenerbahce Beko.

Speaking to OlympiacosBC TV at the Telekom Arena, the veteran forward expressed his expectations for the atmosphere in the stands.

"A red OAKA," Papanikolaou said when asked about the visual support he anticipates.

The Greek squad completed its training session at the venue while club media captured preparations for the crucial matchup.

Papanikolaou dismissed the notion that individual performances decide high-stakes games.

"It's not just one player's job. We all need to be on the same page.

Tomorrow's game doesn't offer a second chance," he said.

Teamwork and Consistency

When asked about the defining quality behind Olympiacos' latest campaign, the captain pointed to consistent effort.

"I don't know if there's a keyword to answer that. Definitely the way we worked throughout the whole season," Papanikolaou said.

Reflecting on sustained European success, he noted that reaching five consecutive Final Fours should not be taken for granted.

"The fact that we've managed to reach five consecutive Final Fours doesn't mean it should be taken for granted, so both aspects are equally difficult," he added.

Papanikolaou also addressed concerns about intense desire affecting mental focus.

"I don't consider it dangerous.

Wanting something this badly is what has brought us to the Final Four over the past five years," he said.

He concluded by expressing excitement for the fans' arrival and the collaborative atmosphere they aim to create.

"Definitely.

I'm looking forward to seeing the fans in the stands, for the tipoff, for us to be ready.

It's something we want to create all together," Papanikolaou said.
