Canadian teenager Victoria Mboko has advanced to the singles final at the Strasbourg International after a three-set semifinal victory over Romania's Jaqueline Cristian on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The top-seeded player from Mississauga, Ontario, won 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-2 at the WTA 500 clay-court tournament in France.

Mboko overcame an early break in the opening set to take the tiebreaker, then dominated the deciding set by converting two of three break points while saving both break points she faced, according to match records.

Final Matchup Set

Mboko will face Emma Navarro of the United States in Saturday's final.

This will be her fourth consecutive match in as many days before she begins her French Open campaign against Czechia's Nikola Bartunkova on Sunday.

In doubles action, Ottawa's Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazilian partner Luisa Stefani also reached their final by defeating Russia's Ekaterina Alexandrova and Kazakhstan's Anna Danilina 7-5, 6-4.

The top-seeded duo won 70.6 percent of their first-serve points compared to 52.5 percent for their opponents, converting five breaks while dropping three serve games.

Dabrowski and Stefani will face Norway's Ulrikke Eikeri and the United States' Quinn Gleason in the Saturday doubles final as they pursue their second title of the season.
