due to inclement weather.

The Blue Devils held a 3-2 lead in the top of the second inning when the game was paused.

Duke will resume the game with runners on first and second base with two outs while Aminah Vega faces a full count at the plate.

The weather disruption occurred immediately after Arkansas freshman right-hander Saylor Timmerman committed an illegal pitch by losing her balance during her wind-up motion.

Timmerman had just entered the circle to replace left-hander Robyn Herron after Duke outfielder Jayla Stafford hit a two-out single to drive in the go-ahead run.

Duke reclaimed the advantage in the top of the second inning when Kairi Rodriguez hit a two-run home run, which was followed by Stafford's RBI single before the rain intensified.

The three-game series marks the fourth time in program history that Arkansas has hosted a Super Regional.

The No. 5 national seed Razorbacks entered the matchup with a 45-11 record after sweeping through regional play with three consecutive run-rule victories over Fordham and South Florida.
